All about me

Why become an Acupuncturist?

I have always worked with people and my 1st degree is in Early Years, I spent 30 years working with children & families.

However having received excellent treatment for a back injury I became fascinated by the subject, it gave me so much more than I hoped for. The relief from pain for me was cathartic, but there was more, I found such an overwhelming sense of well-being from it.

I trained at College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, which combines Traditional Acupuncture (TCM) with 5 Element Acupuncture and then went onto study for a Diploma in Tui Na.

Chinese medicine with its emphasis on the whole person, body, mind & spirit fascinates me and I wanted to share this amazing experience with others.

I love the sense of immediate response when treating people, be it bringing the colour back in their face, or the laughter in their voice. Their relief from greater fluidity of movement and less pain or their pleasure at the over-all sense of ‘being at one with themselves’.

Acupuncture can transform lives, it’s transformed mine.
